I love TPJC GUZHENG!

HELLO CO PEOPLE!!

How was today's Service Learning at the old folks home? Cool not? Hope that we all have a wonderful time, and condolences to those who had trauma of some sort LOL. They are still harmless after all.

About a week ago, when I went with the exco to visit the old folks home for some admin stuff. We had this long and hot walk from the bus stop, worst still making rounds looking for the entrance. When I was first there, I had this sudden feeling of being at a cozy home. After some discussions, they showed us a video about the home. It was a home for dementia, which is the deterioration of intellectual faculties, such as memory, concentration, and judgment, resulting from an organic disease or a disorder of the brain; sometimes accompanied by emotional disturbance and personality changes. My first thought was what if the audience did not respond? What if we played very very well but did not appreciate it?

But it all did not matter after the performance, spending time with them just made our day special right? Even though our performance wasn't on the high note, we all knew they enjoyed the fun and games. One of the ahmas that I was talking to said "chong lai mei you na me re nao guo!" Even if we were just there to sit around to talk to them, I hope we made their day too!

I also wish that we from today's service learning, we will bring about a much better and exciting one for our next service learning. JIAYOUJIAYOUJIAYOU!!

Totally appreciated everyone's hard work today!
